Sciatica-Causes And Corrections- Northwest Side Chiropractors 60631

I am Dr Cynthia Seaman. I own a natural medicine clinic on the northwest side of Chicago. This article is about what sciatica is -causes and correction

Sciatica is a condition in which a lower back problem is accompanied by buttock, groin, thigh, calf or foot pain/tingling/numbness . You can have all or just one of the lower limb problems. I have seen just the symptom of foot tingling coming from a low back problem. That is why it is so important for people to go to a very experienced chiropractic physician to get properly diagnosed and treated. In my 25 years, I have seen too many patients get misdiagnosed or not treated in the medical world and the condition remains unsolved. They waste precious time and money before they finally find me.

The sciatic nerve is the largest nerve in the body. It comes from the nerves of L1-L5 in the lower back. They combine and then separate out to go to your buttock, to your groin, to your bladder, sex organs and prostrate. It goes to every cell from your lower organs to your toes. It tells all the places it innervates how to function.

It can become inflamed or irritated from the vertebrae of your lower back being out of position or not moving correctly {subluxation}. Disc herniation or bulges can cause sciatica {sciatic nerve irritation} . Direct pressure from the piriformis muscle can also contribute to this condition.

At Seaman Chiropractic Center, it is a common condition that I see and have great success alleviating and preventing its return. My Flexion-distraction table is specific for nerve and disc pain and is also very gentle.
If you are suffering from any of the symptoms I have mentioned or know you have sciatica, call my office today 773-545-2233 to find answers and solutions to your pain.I can help you
